2019 Indian Land Christmas Parade Volunteer Form

Have a great time giving back this Christmas season and being part of what is sure to become a long-lasting tradition in Indian Land!
We’re looking for individuals and groups to get involved by volunteering on the day of the Parade. Volunteer roles include parade route staking and flagging, parade marshals, litter patrol, and more. For volunteers identified to serve as drivers for special guests of the Parade, you must be at least 21 years old, and your auto insurance coverage must include collision.
Please fill out the below volunteer form and submit online by November 15, 2019. Also, you can mail it to PO Box 1385 Waxhaw, NC 28173. Volunteers are encouraged to submit a form(s) as early as possible.
A mandatory volunteer training meeting will be held prior to the parade on Friday, December 13 @ 6:30
pm in the Indian Land Middle School Cafeteria.
I agree to participate in the 2019 Indian Land Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 14th. Despite weather
conditions, "The show must go on." In consideration for being accepted as a parade volunteer, I grant the
Indian Land Christmas Parade Organization, the exclusive right to use my name, likeness, photos or
reproduction of my performance for any purpose including promotion, advertising, or otherwise. With these
rights, I release the Indian Land Christmas Parade Organization, from any and all their claims, liabilities,
and/or damages which may now or in the future arise by reason of such use. Further, I acknowledge that I am
aware of the risks associated with the participation in this event and on my behalf and that of my heirs, do
hereby release the Indian Land Christmas Parade Organization, from all claims, liabilities, and/or damages on
account of any personal injury or property damage which may occur from any cause before, during or after the
